The Stooges Chronicled In New York Times Article

The New York Times had an interesting and in-depth article yesterday about Iggy Pop and the recording of the new Stooges album, The Weirdness. In the article, the Times examines the differences between the old and new school Stooges. It mostly focuses on how Iggy has become a tamer beast after all those years of well-chronicled insanity.

For an example: “While recording, Iggy swam laps in the hotel pool every day before going to work at noon. During the recording of “Fun House” in 1970, by comparison, he dropped acid before each day’s session.”
