I had heard much praise about Battle’s live show, but nothing could have prepared me for show the math-rock/dance/electronica/salsa/polka (ok I made those last two up) super-group put on this past Thursday night. Their clean and powerful drumming of John Stanier simply blew my mind while the group went from song to song. Their new album Mirrored drops on May 15th on Warp Records.
