Along the way, the two will read the book and play a few acoustic songs. This is your chance parents to be truly hip so be sure to bring the kiddies! Paramore Cover At The Drive In, Confuse 14 Year Olds

attheparamore.jpg
Ok, I know, this is too easy folks but I just couldn’t resist. Mainstream darlings Paramore are covering the second half of At The Drive In’s “One Armed Scissor” at their concerts in arenas across America, in front of many confused young adults. If this is not the ultimate “what the fuck?” moment, I don’t know what is. I’ll let you compare and contrast though, so you can be the judge. The cover and the real thing; an infamous performance from At The Drive In on Letterman of said song around the release of Relationship Of Command. dethklok_promo1.jpg

Cartoon Network’s bringers of metal have arrived with their face-crushing, devil-horn-a’raisin’ debut The Dethalbum. Warning, the following mp3 will most likely result in the following things: melting of eyeballs, instant hair growth - most likely shoulder length, philosophy change with the principal belief being that Rob Halford and Lemmy are God, metal babes with handfuls of cheap beer knocking at your door, a uniform of boots with shorts, last name change-most likely to Murderface, and the statement “god, Gorillaz suck. Dethklok eat their souls,” among a handful of other side effects. An mp3 of “Hatredcopter” is below. Don’t say we didn’t warn you sucker. Be on the lookout for an interview in the near future.

Album Review: Static Radio “One For The Good Guys” (Black Numbers)

*Adjusts mask and Robin tights* Holy Kid Dynamite, Batman! Ok, now that I got that out of the way, Static Radio’s 7-song album, One For The Good Guys, out now on Black Numbers Records, is a pretty insane punch to the face. Sorry for the Kid Dynamite joke, but it’s an apt comparison as these dudes mix melodic punk rock, throat-tearing vocals, and hardcore ferocity into a sound that, while not exactly original, is still full of heart and guts and gets you pumped.
