Clint Schnase Leaves Cursive, Prep New 12-Inch

Clint Schnase has officially retired from Cursive according to an announcement on their MySpace page and has been officially replaced by none other than Cornbread Compton (Engine Down). Earlier this year when Cursive opened the Mastodon / Against Me! tour and headlined Siren Festival we took note that Cornbread was behind the kit, but with no real annoucement why Clint was not touring. Cornbread actually added some different drum fills / stylings to some of the tracks live and his addition to the band could be interesting. We wish Clint the best of luck.
Cursive will be releasing a new single on 12″ vinyl for “Bad Sects” from Happy Hollow on November 6. Tracklisting and artwork after the jump.

1. Bad Sects (album version)
2. Bad Sects (instrumental)
3. Bad Sects (A Crude Mechanical Mix)
4. Bad Sects (String Quartet Arrangement)
