It was reported yesterday that Lance Hahn, the influential frontman for J-Church, has passed away. He was 40.

Lance was the well-known singer for the awesome J-Church, and was also a longtime contributor to Maximumrocknroll and ran Honey Bear Records. He’d been battling kidney problems for a long time and had recently taken a downward turn. Yesterday Punknews.org reported his passing.
