Some Girls Break Up, The Blood Brothers Relax

This is a tough week for all you noise/screamo fans out there, due to the fact that California screamers Some Girls announced they are breaking up, while The Blood Brothers have decided to take a break for the next couple of months. No specific reason has been given yet for the Some Girls break-up, but Justin Pearson’s straight forward message which we’ve posted below may clear things up. Pearson mentions the demise of the Blood Brothers, but apparently it was pre-mature if anything. The Blood Brothers future has been in doubt for a while, ever since they were left label-less when V2 announced they were closing earlier this year. Wes Eisold of Some Girls/American Nightmare fame, also has a new experimental hip-hop project called XO Skeletons, which you can check out here.

Some Girls bassist/Three One G Records owner/The Locust member Justin Pearson left this post on the 31G messageboard two days ago, giving a curt description of what happened, which you can check out after the jump.

“i dont have buttons to be pushed anymore.
