Morrissey Hits NYC

Morrissey’s residency in NYC has officially passed and the opinions on what night was the best will obviously be mixed. I attended the second night with the usual expectations that comes with witnessesing the Moz’s live show. If anything, the only real surprises from the night consisted of the interesting mix of solo songs and the rare apperance of the Smith’s “Death of a Disco Dancer.”

There are few that command the stage like Moz. It’s an experience most should witness. It’s majestic; that’s the only way to categorize it. After all the frustration of his cancelled Summer gig at MSG, it was an overall well-paced show. Nothing too crazy, nothing by any means boring, everything went down smooth. It could have been a better Moz show but hey, who’s complaining really? Set list after the jump.
