Paint It Black’s “New Lexicon” To Be Released In February

As we reported in the first part of our Fest VI Coverage (speaking of which, be on the lookout tomorrow for parts II and III), Paint It Black’s Dan Yemin was proclaiming their new album would bring “punk back to year zero.” Some more good news was announce today by the band, with the release date for New Lexicon being set for February 19th, 2008.
The album, the band’s first with guitarist Josh Agran (Affirmative Action Jackson) and drummer Jared Shavelson (Hope Conspiracy), features production from both J.Robbins and Dalek’s Oktopus. Also, Naked Raygun lead singer Jeff Pezzati does some guest vocals on a track.
Pre-order the album here and you’ll receive it February 1st, a good two weeks and change ahead of everyone else. Also, you can check out a new track, “Past Tense. Future Perfect” below. Needless to say, we all just wet our pants.
