Well it’s that time of year again. Break out the pen and paper and start making out the long list of your favorite albums for the annual “Top 10″ and “Best Of” articles that will soon begin bombarding the press in the coming weeks. The folks at the Plug Awards want to help you out and jog your memory of the past year in music by having you vote on their list of nominees for the equivalent of the hipster Grammies. You can vote here for some of the years best acts, which features the usual suspects list of Battles, Arcade Fire, Band of Horses, and more, as well as some interesting surprises like Fucked Up, Om, and Health. The actual award show will be held at Terminal Five in New York city on March 6th, 2008, with satellite parties being held in Miami, Chicago, Brooklyn, and Los Angeles before the event.
