The Fest VI: Day Three Recap

Posted on November 19th, 2007 by Matthew

Suburban Home Records Signs On High

Posted on November 19th, 2007 by Jason

If you’re a sucker for pop-punk (and I know you are), then you probably loved The Gamits, the under-appreciated, young, scrappy punks who broke up way too soon. Alas, there is hope! Chris Fogal, frontman of the group, has started a new project titled On High, featuring members of Drag the River, Love Me Destroyer and Rocky Votolato, among others.

The group’s debut album will be put out by Suburban Home Records around March or April of next year. The group’s sound does stray from Fogal’s pop-punk background and has “more in common with Black Sabbath or Metallica’s “Master Of Puppets” than anything the Gamits ever did.”

If you want some tunes, download On High’s 3 song demo right here.

On the last night of their current tour, Grails and Om certainly shook the foundation of the tiny Middle East Upstairs, while pissing off the venue at the same time. Read on after the jump!
