Will Cloverfield Live Up To The Hype?

Every since producer J.J. Abrams revealed the promo poster of a decapitated Statue Of Liberty for his monster movie Cloverfield, interest for the flick has been pretty intense. What will the monster look like? Will the “Blair Witch-style” shooting make it annoying to watch? Will it suck/slay? Nobody really knows what to expect but a new trailer was unveiled during the NYE 2008 celebration broadcast so you be the judge and check it out below. For the record, I’m mixed on whether it will infact suck or slay.

Clearly, the monsters not only hate NY, but the French as well.
