It’s my pleasure to announce one of LWNF’s favorite bands Paint It Black will be stopping by NYC’s best record store Generation Records on March 1st for an exclusive in-store performance before their show that night at the Knitting Factory with Strike Anywhere.
Here’s the deal: Starting on Tuesday, February 12th, the first 50 people to buy the New Lexicon CD at the store will be put onto a guest list for an in-store performance with the band happening on the afternoon of March 1st.
You MUST bring a driver’s license or some form of ID with you when you purchase the CD. The guest list spot is NON-TRANSFERABLE. No excuses will be accepted. There will be further details on the show (start time, etc.) next week.
So get their freakin’ amazing third full-length New Lexicon a week early and get to see Paint It Black at Generation Records. Excited? Stayed tuned for further details.
Generation Records is located at 210 Thompson Street(between W.3rd and Bleecker St.) in Manhattan.

YES!!! same weekend I am in NYC. Smoke or Fire/Fake Problems, Sakes Alive, and Paint It Black/Strike Anywhere all within the same weekend! hell yes
please tell me you guys considered having them either play on the roof or on a flatbed semi driving through midtown during rush hour.
Man, if I had my way, they’d be out on Thompson Street. Bringing the madness to the Saturday window shoppers.
