The Raconteurs Pull A Radiohead

If it wasn’t obvious enough already, announcing that your big-name band has a new album coming out in a few days is the biggest trend in the industry right now. First Radiohead and Nine Inch Nails, and now the Jack White/Brenden Benson led super-group The Raconteurs have made the move. The group has finished their second-full length, Consolers of the Lonely, and wanted to get the new material out ASAP.

So, Consolers will be released on March 25th and comes with 14 brand new tracks and was prepared with no press or advertising to announce it’s impending release. The group will be touring in the next few months, so check out the dates after the jump.
