The Trailers Are The Best Part: The Happening
I haven’t loved any of M. Night Shyamalan’s movies since The Sixth Sense. Frankly, the man’s work has just been on a steady decline, culminating in that ultimate turd-fest, Lady In The Water. I’ll say this though, The Happening looks like it might end that streak. It’s cool too that a portion of the film was filmed in my hometown of Phoenixville, PA. Yeah, I am dork about stuff like that.
One question though: For the TV campaign, why is the biggest focus on how this is his “first R-rated film?” Is that really going to rope people in? Anyways, I feel like I already know what the twist is going to be at the end but the movie does look good. Check out the red band trailer below. Just a warning kiddies, it gets kinda gruesome.

I read the script for this awhile back
it is AWFUL, I didn’t think it was possible for him to do worse than lady in the water but the twist in this one is so dumb its amazing anyone picked it up.
it couldn’t possibly be as bad as Iron Man
Oh believe me, it was terrible. Awful, awful, awful!
