Jaguar Love, one of the latest signings to Matador, have released their first video for the song “Highways of Gold” from their debut Take Me To The Sea. Catch them on tour now with The Faint and playing at Southpaw in Brooklyn on August 19th.
Crosby, Stills, and Nash stopped by The Colbert Report last night to promote their new documentary Deja Vu. Since Neil Young wasn’t present for the interview, Colbert stepped in to perform “Teach Your Children” with the band. Watch it below!
Shock jock Howard Stern is producing a remake of Rock ‘N’ Roll High School. My question is who the hell do you get to replace The Ramones? It will probably be Green Day or something. Also of note, the picture is being scripted by Alex Winter, who is best known for this character. Wild Stallions!
It’s always amusing when really, really good bands pause in between every song to thank the crowd for being there. Yeah, Wolf Parade - you better thank us for listening to you flawlessly execute song after song of catchy indie rock! Who do you think you are? And the part where you jammed the most epic jam ever for fifteen minutes and held the crowd’s interest the whole time? We deserve an extra thank you for that one. Rest after the jump!

Exciting news! The Gaslight Anthem will be doing an in-store performance at NYC’s Generation Records on August 12th. The show will go down at 8:30 P.M. in the store’s basement. YOU MUST BRING YOUR I.D. to get in. NO EXCEPTIONS! If you forget it, you will not be getting into the show.
Once again, the list has been closed. If you have been put on the list, you will be contacted within the next few days. PLEASE DO NOT call or e-mail the store. The list will be based on a first-come, first-serve basis. Show will start at 8:30 P.M.
