Video: “I Had A Dream I Went To Coney Island”

I’m not from NYC but watching Sherwin’s Akbarzadeh’s short film I Had A Dream I Went To Coney Island made me feel quite nostalgic about the place. The “surrealistic technicolor dream” clip was shot on Super 8mm film and features Panda Bear’s song “A Musician and a Filmmaker.” Even though it’s only four minutes long, it’s a captivating and perfectly composed video. Spike Lee recently chose the short as the winner in the “Mini Masterpiece” at the Babelgum Online Film Festival.
