Our friends The Measure [SA] have announced their touring plans for March. The band will be heading down to Florida and back, playing shows with World/Inferno Friendship Society, Strike Anywhere, The Riverboat Gamblers, Grabass Charlestons, For Science, and many more.

Even though they’ve played many times together, the bill of Strike Anywhere and Paint It Black is one you can never get sick of. Punkbands.com is reporting that Strike Anywhere is working on an acoustic EP. Reading the quotes from lead singer Thomas is leaving us very intrigued with how amazing this release could be…
“Rather than having folk versions of our punk songs, there’ll actually be new songs that are derived from parts of our songs, with guitars and banjos and maybe a dobro, pedal steel and maybe a fiddle,” Barnett said. “Take our songs and deconstruct them all the way back before rock’n’ roll, back to an Appalachian-Dust Bowl-folk experience. We’re excited about this.”
