Here’s a video of Eerie Von (Samhain, Danzig) performing “Lay The Blame” at Generation Records on January 8th. Eerie was at the store promoting his amazing photography book Misery Obscura.

Lyle Preslar (Minor Threat, Samhain) and Mike D’Antonio (Killswitch Engage) accompanied Eerie for the acoustic performance.

Generation have signed copies of the book here and at the store (210 Thompson St. in NYC’s West Village). If you’re a fan of The Misfits, Samhain, Danzig, Metallica or just amazing collections of photography, You NEED this book.

Michael Ian Black and Michael Showalter are back on Comedy Central July 15th with a new sketch called “Michael and Michael have Issues,” and no Issues is not a cute name for the missing David Wain who is now a big time hollywood director (Role Models). Wain does have a very funny web series called Wainy Days which you should check out as well. Anyway this show looks damn good and the show that got these two started The State is finally on DVD. So go pick that up now and watch the preview below

In this Sundance selected dark comedy Patton Oswalt plays a New York Giants super fan who is assaulted when trying to meet his favorite player. We have not seen the movie yet, but we are predicting Patton to win an Oscar. Check out the trailer below.

Screaming Females continue to dominate our lives over here at LNWF. Check out their video for “Buried In The Nude,” which is off their fantastic album Power Move. The video premiered on Rolling Stone (!!!) the other day. Check out Bill Shouldis’ pictures from their show with Jay Reatard and TV Smith on July 2nd at the Music Hall of Williamsburg.
