The first annual All Points West music festival goes down this weekend in Jersey City’s Liberty State Park. Here are some tips on food spots and parking situations for all of you making the trek to the festival.

First off, parking. Parking is nearly impossible in the area without a permit. Don’t ruin your weekend by getting a ticket or a boot. There are a ton of garages in the area; mostly on Grove St. and near the Pavonia/Newport area. It will probably cost about $20 a day to park.

According to the Urb Magazine, Radiohead will not only make an apperance at Jersey City’s version of Coachella, All Points West, they’ll be playing two nights of it. There are no confirmations just yet from the band but I think it’s safe to say all you Radiohead fans should probably start wetting your pants. More updates to follow.

We now have a name for the Coachella-sponsored festival coming to Jersey City this summer; the All Points West Festival. No confirmed lineup as of yet but Jack Johnson, who was rumored for APW (awesome?), has been announced as a headliner for Coachella ’08. Although there are some highlights here and there, the lineup will have a very, very hard time living up to last year’s festival. You can check out the festival lineup after the jump. An announcement is expected soon on the APW lineup, which will go down August 8th-10th at Liberty State Park.
