Zach Galifianakis got to enjoy the treat of performing under a carnival tent in a parking lot to the neon clad youth of Bamboozle. As always Zach was brilliant. Lately he has been working on a home improvement project…he is taping every episode.

Oh boy, Bamboozle ’09 just happened this past weekend. Each year, the shirts get brighter and the free hugs signs larger. Check out our photo wrap up of Bamboozle, uh, fashions below.
The Bamboozle festival was full of nu-emo-screamo-whatever bands, but buried early in the schedule on Sunday was The Casting Out, the new band from Nathan Gray formerly of Boysetsfire. Playing one of the first sets of the day on a side stage, Nathan took advantage of the small crowd by jumping over the barrier and performing in the crowd for more than half the set, creating a more intimate show in the massive parking lot of Giants Stadium. The Casting Out sound can be compared to the more pop oriented Boysetsfire songs such as “Rookie” or “White Wedding Dress.”

Yes, you read that right folks. Snoop Dogg. At Bamboozle. If you are going, prepare for the onslaught of corny comments from youngsters there for Tokio Hotel and Paramore. Like, “that dude from Tokio Hotel’s hair is the shizzle.” Or, “that Paramore broad is preggers fo’ shizzle.” Just saying, you’ve been warned.
