Ex-Bayside Bassist Forms Victory Records…The Band

Posted on July 12th, 2009 by Aaron

Just came across something pretty comical on the ‘Org and I couldn’t resist from posting about it.  Andrew Elderbaum, former member of ex-Victory Records band Bayside, has started a new band by the name of… Victory Records. I shit you not.

Here’s a choice excerpt from Elderbaum’s statement about the name selection:

I have a new project called Victory Records, and when Tony gets around to suing me after he finishes duping some other 18 year old kid into signing away his songs for 5 albums, we’ll change the name to Victory Rex, because satire is protected by the constitution and Brummel is not.

You can check out Victory Records (the band) right HERE

And… I leave you with this gem:

This year, along with tour-veterans Bad Religion, Alkaline Trio and Bayside, UK-uber-hyped-hardcore-youngsters Gallows were among the highlights.
