A few weeks back, Lucero played at the uber-crowded Big Apple BBQ in Manhattan. So while I didn’t get to try Blue Smoke, I did get to see one of my favorite bands for free. Perhaps taking advantage of playing in front of different crowd, the band debuted a lot of new songs from their upcoming full-length. BUT, the highlight of the show was the youngster who hopped on stage towards the end of the show, while the band played “My Tears Don’t Matter Much,” unleashing his best dances moves in front of the crowd. People went bonkers. I think they should hire him full-time. Check out more pictures after the jump.
