Shockingly, there have been no reports in the New York City area about the recent closing of Mamoun’s Falafel on MacDougal St. There is a sign on the door that says it was closed, among other things, for “mental hygiene” issues. Yuck!

Against Me! leader Tom Gabel has announced that he is joining The Revival Tour this fall. The tour includes solo sets from Chuck Ragan (Hot Water Music), Ben Nichols (Lucero) and Tim Barry (Avail). Dates are forthcoming. God, can you imagine if all these dude and their bands played this show too. Should be awesome regardless. Check out Against Me! on Leno from last night, June 18th, below.

Here’s a video of Chuck Ragan, Lucero’s Ben Nichols and Joshua English performing a cover of the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band’s “Will The Circle Be Unbroken.” The show went down on January 24th at Maxwell’s in Hoboken, a day before the Hot Water Music reunion show in Sayreville, NJ.
