Here are some pictures from Fucked Up‘s 12 hour show in NYC last week. There are plenty more after the jump.
After a 12 hour show the day before, Fucked Up did the standard headlining gig at Bowery Ballroom last night. During the set lead singer Damian Abraham opened the show stating, “We played a 12 hour show yesterday, and it’s starting to feel like it.” Later on in the set Damian mentioned that Michael Stipe of R.E.M. showed up to the 12 hour show after it was done. He said he asked Stipe if he would have done a song with them and Stipe replied “Probably Not.” Although, Stipe wouldn’t play with them, Damian commented that it was “nice to meet someone on his level.”

Fucked Up stopped by Generation Records for an in-store performance on September 12th. Here are some pictures from the performance.
To celebrate their new album The Chemistry Of Common Life, Fucked Up will play for twelve straight hours at a store front in NYC on October 14th. They will playing at Rogan, which is located at 330 Bowery. The show starts at 2 P.M. and ends at 2 A.M., with the band bringing guests like John Joseph, Vivian Girls, Akon, and David Cross along for the ride. The first batch of people to arrive at the store will receive a free “Royal Swan” 7-inch. This sounds amazing!
