Vinyl Collective and Suburban Home Records CEO Virgil Dickerson recently conducted a lengthy video interview with Joey Cape of Lagwagon, Bad Astronaut, Me First and the Gimme Gimmes, & The Playing Favorites fame.

Among the topics discussed are plans surrounding the fate of the remaining unreleased Bad Astronaut songs, where Lagwagon fits in on Joey’s ever growing list of musical obligations and the effectiveness of the male mustache as a deterrent against crazed/annoying fans.

Like Bad Astronaut and Lagwagon? Then it’s a safe bet that you will fall in love with Playing Favorites, the new project from the nearly prolific vocalist Joey Cape. The group’s debut album I Remember When I Was Pretty is coming out on December 4th on Suburban Home Records and features Cape’s vocals with a backing band comprised of members of Sugarcult, Summercamp, and the Penfifteen Club. Suburban Home Records founder Virgil Dickerson recently spoke to Joey Cape about the new project and posted their conversation for you die hard fans to check out.
