No Led Zeppelin, But Lez Zeppelin At Bonnaroo ’08

Posted on February 6th, 2008 by Matthew

I wonder what Bonnaroo‘s people were thinking when they couldn’t get Led Zeppelin to play. ‘Well, hmm, they just aren’t budging with our multi-bazillion dollar offer? Bring in the lesbian version pronto!’ Actually, on a sidenote, I don’t think any of the girls in Lez Zeppelin are in fact lesbians. I also love how some editor at the AP, who probably didn’t have his late night coffee intake at full capacity, saw the Lez and screamed Led!

No big shocker among the headlining acts Pearl Jam, Metallica and Kanye West, but some of LNWF’s favorite bands are there, such as Against Me!, Battles, Minus The Bear and Mastodon.

Check out the rest of the lineup after the jump.
