Sleep Station Shows Its “Pride”

Posted on 14 December 2007 by Jason

One man creative force Dave Debiak is back again with his main project, Sleep Station, the ambitious group where he concocts grandiose stories and the tunes to go along with them. Debiak’s past concept albums have ranged from everything to being “about a robotics engineer falling in love with a robot he created” to “two astronauts being abandoned by ground control and left to die in outer space, the love story of Dr. Carl Von Cosel (a famous necrophiliac who fell in love with his deceased patient, Elena Hoyos), and a first person drama taking place in World War II.” Clearly these are not some fluff pieces of pop filler. Sleep Station’s latest “The Pride of Chester James” drops February 5th on Jersey’s own Eyeball Records. No word on what the concept behind this one is, but it’s a safe bet that this one will be just as out there as the rest. Check out the song “Settle On Your Name” below.
