Tim Fite will release his official “studio recording” follow-up to 05’s Gone Ain’t Gone on May 6th. Fair Ain’t Fair (Anti-) will , according to the label have the feel of his self-released Over The Counter Culture with “catchy pop (yes, pop!) songs and sweet two minute modern hymns, they seem less vitriolic, more forgivably human.” The man has also announced some dates with Primus mastermind Les Claypool, along with a few appearances at SXSW . Having conquered the world of hip-hop and indie, most recently with his Internet only release Over The Counter Culture, Brooklynite Tim Fite has set his sights on a new project. What you may ask? A GUNSHOW of course!
Every Wednesday for the next eight weeks, he will present a new GUNSHOW at his website. According to the press release, GUNSHOW will be a “temporary exhibition of guns and a series of new videos” which will “make you laugh, cry, scream, smile, and think.” Judging by the first video, we are in for a journey of R.
