Poison The Well have announced they will be releasing a three-part 7-inch series on November 11th.  The first release will be titled I / III and feature the songs “New Fast” and “Purple Sabbath,” which were recorded in Umea, Sweden. The artwork for the three releases will combine (like Transformers) for one large image. For the vinyl impaired, the songs will also be released digitally.

You will be able to pre-order the release with a t-shirt and poster starting October 24th on their myspace page.

Insound.com, one of our favorite online indie record stores, will be starting a newsletter with vinyl updates. You can sign up here. According to Insound, the newsletter will “feature information on new vinyl, imports, limited edition 7″s, re-issues and assorted products and accesories for the vinyl lover in you.”  We dig vinyl, so sign us up!

Wired has a really interesting story up about Cliff Bolling, a man who has made it his life mission to track down, record, and upload supposedly “lost” vinyl gems onto the Internet. He has a wide variety of music ranging from blues to classic Japanese and Greek music once thought lost, now available for anyone.  You can check out the story here.
