Kermit Feeling Depressed, Covers Elliott Smith

I never thought I would be laughing while Elliott Smith’s classic “Needle in the Hay” was being played. That is, until this video popped up that features Kermit (well…Sad Kermit atleast), fed up with being green and probably Miss Piggy’s contstant smothering, singing those all-so-painful lyrics. Hell, there is even the double-tracked vocals and a Royal Tenenbaums reenactment. Well done my friend. Check it below. Be sure to check out more of Sad Kermit’s melancholy at his Myspace.

Brooklyn-based pop punks Young Hearts have put their The Fight EP online for free.  The band is one of the best up-and-coming bands from the NYC scene. Simply put, they tear shit up!
